Living Well in the New Year

If you’ve taken one of my cooking classes, you know that I consider making beautiful food to be an essential part of loving ourselves and those around us. When I hear that one of my recipes has become part of your regular meal rotation, or a special indulgence, it fills me with joy to know that you have found a new way to enjoy time in the kitchen. Perhaps you find the time we spend together to be that moment of inspiration in the week that fuels your own creativity and helps you to approach meal making in a new way. Often I hear our time allows you to relax, share your interests, and feel calmer and therefore happier.

In the spirit of tending collectively to our well-being, I’m sharing a list of ways we can support ourselves this year that include and extend beyond our time in the kitchen. As you move in the direction of what fulfills you most, I hope these suggestions inspire you as much as the recipes throughout Thirsty Radish.

Now that the flurry of activity surrounding the new year has settled, we have had some time to reflect more deeply on how we would like the months ahead to feel. It’s the perfect time to set some beautiful intentions to live well. As we move through the year, I’ll be sharing more ideas with you.
